These general terms and conditions aim to define:
the booking and rental terms of the Gîte du Châtelet,
the conditions of use of the website,
the personal data protection policy.
Any booking implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Bookings are made exclusively via the website www.le-chatelet.be, using the online booking system.
The booking becomes final and binding after:
validation of the booking form,
full payment of the stay online.
A confirmation email is automatically sent to the guest.
Prices displayed on the website are expressed in euros (€), all taxes included, unless otherwise stated.
The price includes:
the rental of the gîte,
utilities,
bed linen and towels,
access to the sauna,
access to the swimming pool in season under specified conditions.
The price does not include:
end-of-stay cleaning (mandatory fee indicated during booking),
any additional charges clearly mentioned before validation.
A security deposit of €300 is required for each stay.
It is intended to cover any damage, loss or additional costs.
The deposit is refunded within a maximum of 10 working days after departure, subject to inspection.
Any cancellation must be notified in writing (email).
Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: a fee of up to 60% of the total stay may be retained.
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the stay is due.
In case of no-show without notification within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival date, the booking is cancelled without refund.
Any early departure does not entitle to a refund.
Arrival: between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM
Departure: before 11:00 AM
Any late arrival must be communicated in advance.
The property is rented exclusively for tourist accommodation purposes.
The guest agrees to:
respect the maximum capacity of the property (6 persons),
use the property in a peaceful manner,
not organise parties or events,
respect neighbours and the environment.
Smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited.
The owner declines all responsibility in case of:
theft, loss or damage to personal belongings,
accidents occurring during the stay, particularly near the swimming pool or water areas.
The guest is responsible for the property, its equipment and the grounds made available.
Pets are allowed only with prior approval from the owner and may be subject to an additional fee.
Personal data collected during booking is used only for:
booking management,
communication with the guest,
compliance with legal obligations.
Data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679).
The guest has the right to:
access,
rectification,
deletion,
object to the processing of their data.
